The Faraway Admirer

This is a poem about,
a boy who dreamt too much,
who was just too afraid,
to step on the clutch.

The boy has been scarred,
from his past and needed,
to get on with his life,
in which he has not succeeded.

However,the boy found solace,
in the mysterious eyes of a lady,
in which he was captivated,
by her beauty and spontaneity.

Her beauty is out of this world,
she has a one-of-a-kind smile,
which could stretch to,
as far as the river nile.

The boy was rather curious about the girl,
as he has always wanted to ask her this question,
"Did it hurt when you fell, straight from heaven?"

But she too had been a victim of her past,
this is why beneath her ever joyful exterior,
lies a person who believes sadness is a must.

No matter how much he likes her,
he can never afford to tell how he feels,
for he doesn't want to lose a friend,
which would pretty much be a great ordeal.

So,as the sun begins to set,
and the day is almost over,
the boy just stands there,
as a faraway admirer...
