Life Cycle

As the tears roll down your cheeks,
dark clouds surround the night,
heavy showers follow soon after,
there seems to be no end in sight.

Every raindrop that embraces mother Earth,
slowly eases the cries of one's hurting heart,
for after the shower's gone..a rainbow follows,
it is time to grow anew..time for a new start.

The tears that were released,
are now seeped into the ground,
it now mixes with other sediments,
rocks,seeds, anything thats around.

You emerge as a different entity,
as you spread out for control,
you grab hold of life with your roots,
in life, you have to learn to be bold.

And now you grow upwards,
your petals dancing with such grace,
you grow towards the sunlight,
the past is soon to be erased.

The magnificent splendour of life,
is never to be underestimated,
we may be knocked down before,
we will be stronger,thats how we're created.
